'Tis the Season Again!

Hello folks!
I can barely believe but the Holiday season is here again... Just around the corner.
So needless to say the funny xmas tree ornament factory has re-opened at my studio... peeled bananas and grumpy carrots are back by popular demand and I've added a few more, take a look!

Headaches and Hibou's Voodoo Dolls in Fitness Magazine - March 2013 issue

A few months ago I was contacted by a lovely lady at Fitness Magazine who wanted to get some of my Voodoo Dolls to illustrate an article that was being prepared for an upcoming issue.
Of course I was flattered as I love to collaborate with magazines but since I enjoy flipping through this one every once in a while I was even happier!

I love how they digitally tweaked the face to make it look happy when removing the pins! 

I did not know at the time what the article was going to be about so I was very excited yesterday when I got my copy of the March issue.
The article is entitled: "Break the headache curse".
Since I am a migraine sufferer myself I thought that was very fitting! Maybe I should do a "migraine killing curse" on one of my Voodoo Dolls and see if that does the trick ;) I will let you know how it works but in the meantime go get your own issue of Fitness mag and if you find yourself in need of a voodoo doll, you know where to find me!

Stuffed Magazine Winter 2013 - Vol 6 Issue 1

Hello!
I recently received my copy of Stuffed Magazine's new issue the other day
(Winter 2013, Vol 6 Issue 1) !
I was psyched to not only discover my article but also to see all the amazing plush goodness that was put together for this issue.
I have read it cover to cover now and I can't recommend it enough so go ahead and get your copy, you're in for a treat :)

In this issue you will discover my "Marcel The Sardine Fisherman" with his boat, pet plushoctopus and fishing net. You will also meet "Le Petit Crocodile Tranquille" as well as the infamous "Mr. Pendleton the Pirate Parrot"... with his deserted island!
I will be posting more pictures of these pieces on my Flickr page soon and they will be listed for sale in my shop as soon as they get back from California which is where Stuffed magazine's offices are.

2013 a great voodoo year!

Happy New Year to you all Hibou fans!

I hope 2013 is filled with joy, love, good health... and a bit of voodoo :)

I can help you with that! Because sometimes we could all use a little voodoo in our lives I'm just now working on a big new batch of dolls.
My voodoo dolls (also called breakup dolls by my customers) can be used both for good and dark spells so really it's up to you to add your own voodoo.

Here is how I do it:
- Get a doll
- Picture the person you're directing your spell to
- Pronounce your formula
- Stab away in desired spot or gently rub it in with love depending on the type of spell you've chosen
- Watch the magic unfold!
